|June 13||Our flight departs New York/JFK this evening to Johannesburg, South Africa. Flight time (subject to change) currently departs at 11:30AM.|
|June 14||Arrive at the Johannesburg, South Africa airport at 8:05AM from New York. After clearing customs, we will meet our tour guide and driver to begin our creation tour and safari journey. We will drive approximately an hour to Pretoria – The capital of South Africa. Pretoria is a vision of purple, thanks to its plethora of blossoming trees that gave the South African metropolis its nickname: Jacaranda City. The buildings of Pretoria reflect diverse architectural styles and influences, creating a unique urban landscape. We will stop at the National Zoological Gardens. Here you can get up close and personal with some of God’s most majestic cats while visiting the Cheetah Research and Breeding Centre. Afterwards, we will drive to our hotel and this evening we will enjoy our first dinner fellowship together. BD (B=breakfast, L-lunch, D=dinner)|
|June 15||This morning we will depart Pretoria and drive towards the Mokopane region, rich in creation evidence. We will arrive at our safari lodge mid-morning and get settled into our luxury African accommodations, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch overlooking the grounds. In the afternoon, take part in one of our creation tour lessons titled “In the beginning”. After our lesson, try your hand at archery, take the kids to the pool or enjoy some of the lodge’s other unique activities during your free time. After dark, benefit from a lesson in astronomy and enjoy star gazing at its finest, as we uncover some of the mysteries of God’s creation of the sun, the moon, and the stars. BLD|
|June 16||Rise and shine early this morning with coffee and pastries. We take a short drive for an early morning for a unique opportunity. We arrive at the lodge separate into groups of 9 where we will have an opportunity to walk with lions and their young in the early morning. What a way to start a safari and creation tour! The exclusive program has been operated for years under the watchful eye of the game managers and wardens. Once done, we will go through the reserve for animal viewing. We will end with a welcoming brunch at a nearby resort. Later we will drive to Nylsvley Nature Reserve, which is well known for its exceptional avifaunal diversity, with 370 species recorded, of which 102 are waterfowl. Nylsvley Nature Reserve is regarded as one of the premier bird-watching localities in the country. Most of the thousands who visit the reserve each year are birdwatchers. During our visit we will explore God’s creation of the birds as we continue our study in Genesis. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” Genesis 1:22. During good rainy seasons the floodplain becomes a hive of activity, with the best estimate for water bird numbers being approximately 80,000. The system also plays an important role for frogs and fish, which gather in large numbers to breed when the plain becomes flooded. Breeding of endangered Roan antelope, which use the floodplain extensively, and rare Tsessebe, is another of the conservation priorities and appealing features of the reserve. We will return to the lodge in the afternoon. Dinner together with a special concert from Buddy Davis! BLD|
|June 17||Today will be our full day photo game drive, one of the most exciting days of our trip. Our game drive, undertaken by highly trained rangers, offers the privilege of up-close big five game viewing. The big five includes the lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. Be sure to have your cameras ready as diversity on the reserve is astounding, with more than 55 large mammal species, 300 flowers, 50 grasses, 140 trees, 380 birds and innumerable insects, reptiles and amphibians. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:25. This reserve is one of those places where you do not need to search for animals, as the plains game is plentiful, with at least 15 different antelope species. Lions are seen almost daily, and are such successful hunters that they can afford to leave some morsels for the Verraux’s Eagles, which have cleverly filled the scavenging niche on the reserve. Rhinoceros are common on the reserve, and share the grass of the open savanna with the nocturnally feeding hippopotamus. The leopards in the Waterberg Mountains are known to be some of the largest on the continent, and these beautiful but secretive animals are seen quite regularly on the reserve. Small antelope such as the nimble Klipspringer sometimes fall prey to them. Brown Hyena and Black Backed Jackal are the main members of the cleanup crew, with the Hyena’s detecting prey by scent from distances of up to 14 km away. You’ll finish this portion of our creation tour with a camera full of photos to share with friends and family and memories that will last a lifetime.
We will have lunch at the Legend’s resort at Entebeni. After safari and lunch, the resort itself will be a highlight no matter your interest. Any of the activities mentioned below are additional. You can take part in them, or you can return to the safari lodge for volleyball or swimming.
· Golf: The Legend golf course at the Entabeni Safari Reserve has earned itself a reputation as one of the world’s most demanding courses, with each of its 18 holes having been built by a legend of the sport. However, it is the Extreme 19th, an additional hole, which is perhaps the most fearsome of them all. Set up high on the Hanglip Mountain, the hole can only be accessed if you don’t mind a quick jaunt in a helicopter, simply to be able to tee off. That’s because the tee is perched on the edge the mountain, some 400 metres above the green on the Par 3 hole, which is considered one of the most stunning and one of the most difficult holes anywhere on the planet. It truly is quite stunning, but probably isn’t one for anyone who suffers from vertigo.
· Spa: The 5 start spa is available for those who wish to relax and enjoy a little pampering.
· Active: There is so much to choose from this afternoon. You can enjoy a pizza in the local pizzeria, take a mountain bike ride, rent a segway and whisk around the property, take on a competitive game of paintball or even go up in a hot air balloon!
|June 18||Field trip to local school and local farm. This will be a truly fulfilling mission day on our creation tour. On this field trip, we will experience the real Africa, with a visit to a children’s school to see first-hand how they spend their days learning and how they study. We also will visit a farm and experience how the locals support their family and community. This day will truly enrich your children’s minds as they come to appreciate some of the many things they can often take for granted. We will return to the lodge where the children will have to opportunity to enjoy the final lesson on creation, while adults can join in or enjoy some of the lodge activities alone. This evening we will join together by the fire for a time of worship as we celebrate all God has given to us. BLD|
|June 19||This morning enjoy your free time with some of the lodge’s activities. Book a spa treatment, take the family hiking, or play a round of golf at a nearby course. Late afternoon, we will gather together for an evening bush tour and dinner. This will be another chance to see wildlife in their natural environment, as we set out for our final safari to photograph the wildlife. We also experience the sun, as it dips below the horizon and share the adventure with the fellow believers over a fabulous, ‘African’ cuisine and culinary creation that would tempt any palate. Spend the evening reminiscing with the kids and sharing your favorite stories from the week. BLD|
|June 20||Today we will visit the Waterberg Savannah Biosphere Reserve. Here we will enjoy a lesson into Noah’s flood as we explore the findings seen throughout South Africa and talk of the evidence to support the passages. This reserve covers an area of some 15,000 square kilometres and was designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2001. It is considered not just one of the country’s foremost conservation projects but also an attractive wildlife viewing destination. It also offers the additional excitement of a good selection of adventure activities, including bush hiking trails, mountain biking, cattle mustering and some of the finest off-the-beaten-track in Africa. The first private game reserve in the country to obtain the highly endangered black rhino, the 360 sq km Lalapala was established in 1981 by well-known South African conservationist Clive Walker. Lalapala has become not just one of the leading private rhino sanctuaries, but also one of the foremost eco-projects in South Africa, and even has its very own school, which introduces some 3,000 children a year, from all over the country, to the principles and practice of conservation. Also enjoy a visit to the Vaalwater Animal handling center today where they have world re-known Big 5 auctions. Tonight we will enjoy one last night around the fire as we fellowship, worship and gaze upon the stars and God’s amazing creations above and around us. BLD|
|June 21||Enjoy a restful time this morning as we begin to say goodbye to our dear new friends! Visit a hands on interactive Elephant reserve mid-morning. You will have an opportunity to touch, ride and feed these amazing gentle animals. Study their eyes, their feet, their huge toenails and their love for their children. God is so good! We drive through the city of Johannesburg, known affectionately as Jo’burg, or the ‘City of Gold”. Enjoy your lunch within walking distance to shops, restaurants and entertainment. We will visit Freedom Square, the Hector Pieterson Memorial and Vilakazi Street, formerly home to both Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Visit the Apartheid Museum for a deeper look at the humbling and ultimately inspiring journey from the dark days of segregation to Mandela’s release from prison and his policy of reconciliation rather that retribution. The flight departs at 8:55PM. Prior to the flight we will have a lovely farewell dinner together! BD|
|June 22||Depart for home. The end of our South African Safari & Creation Tour 2017!|

Biblical Creation Tour Passages
The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, But are her wings and pinions like the kindly stork’s? 14 For she leaves her eggs on the ground, And warms them in the dust;15 She forgets that a foot may crush them, or that a wild beast may break them.
Job 39:9-12 9
Shall the rhinoceros be willing to serve thee, or will he stay at thy crib? 10 Canst thou bind the rhinoceros with thy thong to plough, or will he break the clods of the valleys after thee?11 Wilt thou have confidence in his great strength, and leave thy labours to him? 12 Wilt thou trust him that he will render thee the seed, and gather it into thy barnfloor?
There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;

1. Through the use of The Word, we trust that once you have returned from your trip, you will have gained a deeper knowledge of the scriptures and the multiple layers of teaching and truths that are inside each.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
2. You can be assured an experience like our previous participants, who have gained an appreciation of how God uses everything for His glory and for the purpose of furthering knowledge and understanding. You will see this as you encounter the geology of the land, the geography where events actually occurred and the archaeology that may (or may not!) still exist. Furthermore, through the remaining people in the land, the practices still in place and demography that have endured.
Colossians 1:20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
3. Further, our assurance is received that through The Word; the teachings you will be exposed will solidify the truth which you and your family have been taught by seeing, touching and hearing the scriptures each day. We assert and firmly believe Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
4. You and your family will experience the oneness of the body of Christ during our trip. Just as Jesus prayed in John 17:21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
Along with our assurances, we would like to offer the testimonials of those who have traveled with us. Check out their stories on our Living Passages Testimonials page!

We will be providing you with up to date information and we encourage you to seek your own medical advice. At the time of printing there are no health statements made that would require any type of special vaccinations to take this safari. There is information on our website and available through the CDC.
