Our Christian Mediterranean Bible cruise July 16 – 27, 2012 features an private tour too see the anchors from the Apostle Paul’s shipwreck outlined in Acts 27 and 28 during our visit to the Island of Malta. Our guest speaker, Bob Cornuke and Chuck Holton of CBN created the following video in regards to Bob Cornuke and BASE Institute’s research. It will be an interesting time to hear the various facts surrounding this new fairly new Biblical find. Bob Cornuke worked on the project for around 10 years and others continue to work on the various aspects of Paul’s shipwreck as well.

The island of Malta has proud traditions of the Apostle Paul and we will be spending time with divers, their families and some of the collectors of Biblical artifacts. We hope you enjoy the video. The group cruise and private tour is limited to 53 partipants due to the limited access we will have to various sites and locations. Our visit to Malta on Oceania’s Regatta in tandem with Frank Turek and the friends of the island who were active in the discoveries.

On a recent Bible tour of Ethiopia and Northern Africa, we visited the ancient rock church dedicated to King Ezana and also the church that is dedicated in maintaining the knowledge of the mysteries of God. Listen closely to the above video where the priest discusses these mysteries of their ancient faith in Jesus Christ as Lord of all the earth!

The old priest also shared with us his ancient Bible. Each church, including the one depicted in this video, has its own hand-scribed Bible and the oldest churches and monasteries keep their ancient Bible’s and texts under lock and key. Even today, there are scribes that know the Bible verse by verse and hand scribe Bibles on goat skin. The ancient books of Enoch were found in Ethiopia and then confirmed as accurate when it was later found with the Dead Sea Scrolls.

There are the remains of a Jewish Temple in the South of Ethiopia that has a church built over it. It was built in 400BC as the center for learning Judaic laws and the peace offerings. Visiting the more modern structure you will see the altar that was used for the blood offerings of goats, heifers and bulls. The sacrifices took place here in the South until King Ezana replaced the practice with communion. King Ezana is known in this part of the world (not Europe) as the first real Christian King. He had an unmistakable conversion to Christ. Join us in visiting these precious sites. Contact us at for more information on Ethiopia as a Bible study destination. For pastors and scholars, a small group will be traveling in May 2012.

1. The excommunication decree of reform leader Martin Luther.

2. Henry VIII’s orders to Pope Clement VII in 1530, signed by members of the English parliament, as well as bishops, abbots and the Archbishops of York and Canterbury.

The order urged the Pope to annul Henry’s marriage to Catherine so that he could marry one of her ladies-in-waiting, Anne Boleyn, in the hope of producing a longed for male heir.

“If the Pope is unwilling, we are left to find a remedy elsewhere. Some remedies are extreme, but a sick man seeks relief in any way he can find,” the lords wrote in a transparent threat.

Henry had fallen in love with Boleyn in 1526 and was desperate for his marriage to Catherine to be annulled, a struggle against the Vatican that he referred to as his “great matter.”

Henry married Boleyn in 1533 but Clement VII declared the union invalid and five years later the King was excommunicated by Clement’s successor, Paul III.

The confrontation led to a split with the Catholic Church and the start of the English Reformation.

3. Of interest to creation scholars include the astronomer Galileo’s retraction of his theories of the galaxy after his trial on heresy charges in 1633.

Living Passages Rome contacts and the unique Christian and Jewish visits are a hallmark of Living Passages tours of the Biblical areas of the Mediterranean. A private ladies tour is currently being organized. For more information, contact Living Passages at 888 771 8717 or via our contact page.
